Dr. Ádám Mikó, LL. M.- Notary

Dr. Ádám Mikó received his law degree (Juris Doctor), summa cum laude, at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the Pázmány Péter Catholic University in 2003. Before his university studies he graduated from high school in the USA. Between 2001 and 2002 he studied two semesters in Göttingen, Germany, where he attended the German Law Faculty of the Georg August Universität. He obtained an English language European law degree, Master of Arts in European Law in 2005. He passed the qualifying bar exam in 2007 with an excellent result.

Dr. Adam Mikó started to work at the Szecskay Law Firm from 2003 as a candidate attorney. Following this, he worked as a notary candidate in the notary office of dr. Olga Kapási appointed to Downtown Budapest District V. After the qualifying exam he worked in the same office as a substitute notary. He became the permanent substitute of the Notarial Seat of Budapest District XVI. in the year of 2012. He was appointed as a notary by the Hungarian Minister of Justice in November, 2012.

He obtained an English professional legal language exam and an advanced level German language exam, he speaks both languages fluently. Dr. Adam Mikó also obtained English and German language licenses from the Hungarian Chamber of Civil Law Notaries, thus he is also entitled to create notarial deeds in English and German languages. He speaks Italian on an intermediate level.

Dr. Adam Mikó has been representing the Hungarian Chamber of Civil Law Notaries on numerous international conferences since 2005. He is the member of the Mortgage Law Working Group of the Council of the Notariats of the European Union (CNUE) in Brussels. He was one of the Hungarian presenters of the XXVI. International Congress of Notaries in Marrakesh organized by the International Union of Notaries (UINL) in 2010. 
   
He has been representing the Hungarian Chamber of Civil Law Notaries in the Hungarian Union of Professional Chambers since 2008.

He is a member of the editors committee of the official journal called “Notarius Hungaricus” issued by the Hungarian Chamber of Civil Law Notaries. Since 2009 he has been representing the Hungarian notarial chambers on numerous media platforms (HírTV, Duna Television, RTL Klub, Tv2).

As an appreciation of his work within the notarial chamber he received the Certificate of Merit from the Hungarian Chamber of Civil Law Notaries in 2009 and in 2018. In 2010 he was elected as the member of the Presidency of the Budapest Chamber of Notaries and he also became a member of the Board of the Chamber of Civil Law Notaries. From 2012 he is again a member of the Budapest Chamber of Notaries Presidency.

He is the author of numerous professional publications in Hungarian and English languages (see menu item Publications). In 2011 he issued a monograph called the “Royal Notaries of County Fejér and Székesfehérvár, The life and work of the notary, dr. János Kepes”.
In addition to his professional work he is one of the leaders of the Hungarian delegation participating in the Notarial Olympic Games organized yearly in Poland and in Slovakia and he is also one of the founding members of the Hungarian national football team of notaries. Since 2011 he is the artistic secretary of the Drama Group of Notaries and one of the main actors of the stage play called “Journey to Widowhood”.

Dr. Erzsébet Kiss - Notarysubstitute

Dr. Erzsébet Kiss received his law degree (Juris Doctor) at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the Eötvös Loránd University in 2010. She passed the qualifying bar exam in 2013.

From 1993, Dr. Erzsébet Kiss had been working as a legal assistant, then office manager, and later as a notary candidate in the notarial office of Dr. Judit Bókai in Budapest, and from 2013 she was a notarysubstitute in the same office. She is a notarysubstitute in the notarial office of Dr. Adam Peter Mikó since May, 2016.

In 2015 she obtained an English language license from the Hungarian Chamber of Civil Law Notaries, thus she is also entitled to create notarial deeds in English language.
 

Dr. Elvira Kovács - Notarysubstitute

Dr. Elvira Kovács received her law degree at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Pázmány Péter Catholic University in 2000, and post-graduated as economic criminal lawyer in 2003. She passed the qualifying bar exam in 2004.

Dr. Elvira Kovács had been working from 2000 as a candidate attorney at Bárándy and Partners Law Firm, and worked as an attorney between 2004-2016. Between 2016-2018 she had been working as a notarysubstitute in the notarial office of dr. Zsigmond Balogh in Budapest. She is a notarysubstitute in the notarial office of dr. Adam Peter Mikó since April, 2018.

She speaks English and German on an intermediate level.

Dr. Andrea Stankowsky – Notarysubstitute

Dr. Andrea Stankowsky received her law degree at the Faculty of Law of the József Attila University in 1999. She passed the qualifying bar exam in 2003. In 2018 she graduated with an executive law degree.

Dr. Andrea Stankowsky started to work with Dr. Székely Marianne, from 2003 as a candidate attorney, following this, from 2003 she started to work as a notarysubstitute in the notarial office of Dr. Erzsébet Katalin Tóth in Budapest. Since October, 2017 she is a substitute notary in the notarial office of dr. Adam Peter Mikó.

She speaks English on an intermediate level.

Dr. Alexandra Varga - Notarysubstitute

Dr. Alexandra Varga received her law degree at the Faculty of Law of the Károli Gáspár University in 2013. She passed the qualifying bar exam in 2017.

From 2014, Dr. Alexandra Varga had been working as a notary candidate in the notarial office of dr. Zsigmond Balogh in Budapest, and from 2017 she was a notarysubstitute in the notarial office of dr. Kristóf Szécsényi-Nagy in Budaörs. She is a notarysubstitute in the notarial office of dr. Adam Peter Mikó since November, 2018.

She speaks English and German on an intermediate level.

Dr. Lili Keszler - Notary candidate

Dr. Lili Keszler received his law degree (Juris Doctor) at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the Eötvös Loránd University in 2018.

From 2016, Dr. Lili Keszler had been working as a trainee in the notarial office of Beatrix dr. Biróné dr. Tóth-Zsiga in Monor. She is a notary candidate in the notarial office of dr. Adam Peter Mikó since September, 2018.

She speaks English on an intermediate level.

Dr. Tímea Szabó - Notary candidate

Dr. Tímea Szabó received his law degree (Juris Doctor) at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the Eötvös Loránd University in 2015.

Dr. Tímea Szabó has started her career in 2014 as a trainee in the notarial office of dr. Adam Tóth in Budapest and later she had been working as a notary candidate in the notarial office of dr. Dénes Rádonyi. She is a notary candidate in the notarial office of dr. Adam Peter Mikó since March, 2016.

She speaks English on an intermediate level and she speaks Slovakian fluently.

Ágnes Jakab – Legal assistant

During her studies Ágnes Jakab completed a National Qualifications Register qualification as a registrar in 2006, and later she received her judicial administrator diploma with a college degree at the off-site training in Kaposvár within the framework of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the University of Pécs in 2009.

Since 2006, she has been working as a legal assistant in several notarial offices. She is a legal assistant in the notarial office of dr. Adam Peter Mikó since January, 2016.

Noémi Turcsik-Abonyi – Legal assistant

After finishing the economic high school, Noémi Turcsik-Abonyi worked as a legal assistant at the Kovács Kázmér Law Firm. Since 2005 she has been working as a legal assistant in several notarial offices.

She is a legal assistant in the notarial office of dr. Adam Peter Mikó since April, 2013.

Nikolett Iván – Legal assistant

She received her degree in economics at the Eszterházy Károly College in 2013.

Since 2014, she has been working as a legal assistant in several notarial offices. She is a legal assistant in the notarial office of dr. Adam Peter Mikó since May, 2016.
 

 Bence József Buchholz – Legal assistant

Buchholcz Bence József received his Bachelor's degree in Public Administration at the Faculty of Public Administration of the Budapest Corvinus University in 2011 and in Political Sciences at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the Eötvös Loránd University in 2012.

He is working since August, 2014 as a trainee and later, since April, 2018 as a legal assistant in the notarial office of dr. Adam Peter Mikó.

He speaks English and German on an intermediate level.
